‘House’ in Portuguese (Caza) and Spanish. Our USDA Organic blend. A blend of washed coffees from mostly smallholder farmers in South and Central America and Ethiopia. These coffees are most often grown by smallholder farmers near to their houses, processed on the farm in the washed method and dried and milled by local co-ops or community projects.
The washed coffee method of removing coffee fruit from the inner roastable seeds produces coffees with a multitude of vivid and pronounced flavors. These coffees are also exceptionally sweet. Casa is a blend of coffees with intense fresh fruit flavors and a rich, sweet foundation of caramel and milk chocolate.
Casa is a very versatile blend. Floral and fruit forward with a sweet caramel finish as a pourover. Bright and rounded with assertive yellow fruit and a sweet finish reminiscent of s’mores as an espresso. Casa can be enjoyed daily, however you brew coffee.
